Now in its fifth year, Sadler’s Wells’ annual Connect Festival is a celebration of community and education work produced by the creative learning department at Sadler’s Wells.

Presenting inspiring dance, the festival unites professional artists, up and coming choreographers and dancers of all ages and experience.

This year’s festival highlights include High Res (17 and 18 March), a snapshot of work produced this year by Sadler’s Wells Associate Artists in collaboration with local dancers.

The 2011 Connect Festival also offers a full weekend (19 and 20 March) of Master Class Workshops delivered by Sadler’s Wells associate companies including New Adventures, Hofesh Shecter, Jasmin Vardimon Company and Kate Prince from ZooNation. Tickets for the workshops are £15.

Jam Free (15 March) features the new work of Jam Free Dance Clubs from the boroughs of Hackney, Greenwich, Barnet and Hillingdon, created over ten weeks.  Alongside this are guest performances by three established youth dance companies including Fully Functioning Individuals (FFI) from Impact Dance Company, and Cando2 from Candoco Dance Company with a newly commissioned work by the East London Dance/London Youth Dance Blueprint Bursary Winner, 21 year-old Joseph Toonga completing the programme.
