Eurobattle will have a UK qualifier for 2014 in Birmingham, a fortnight after the world finals took place in Portugal. Qualifiers for Eurobattle will take place in popping, breaking and locking solos and hip hop duos this weekend at the NEC in Birmingham from 17-19 May 2013. The judging line up has been announced as B-Boy Mix of Momentum Crew, B-Boy Sunni of Soul Mavericks, B-Boy Cesa of Illadelphlave, Gemini of Locking4Life, Marvel of Monsters and Dasha of Plague. Video: Eurobattle 2014 UK qualifier trailer Eurobattle is an international hip hop dance event that takes place annually over the course of the weekend in Oporto, Portugal, with a mission to promote urban dance world wide. Winners from the UK at Eurobattle Portugal 2013 finals in April included Prototype and Plague in the hip hop category, Marvel in the popping cypher, and B-Boy Manny in the footwork cyphers. Eurobattle UK qualifiers take place at Hall 12, Stand G42, National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham, West Midlands,  B40 1NT, hosted by Mario Bee and DJed by Hooch. Hip Hop International UK 2013 qualifiers will take place at Watford Colosseum on Saturday 20 April with junior, varsity, adult and mega crew divisions competing for a place in the world finals. The UK Hip Hop Dance Championships is the official national qualifier for the World Hip Hop Dance Championships that take place annually in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Crews that win the junior, varsity and adult divisions will be qualified and registered for the world finals with accommodation, while second and third place will only qualify and have to cover their flights, accommodation and expenses. Bruno Perrier, Kymberlee Jay, Maria Budolak, Mechanikool, Meg and X-clusive have been announced as judges. iDance event categories Crews (between 5 and 8 members): Junior crews (7-12 years) Varsity crews (13-17 years) Adults crews (18+ years) Mega crews In the past crews such as Peridot, Smash Broz, BirdGang and Shockarellas have qualified for the world finals, with only Plague boasting Hip Hop International world champions in 2005 and 2011. Hip Hop International UK qualifiers take place at Watford Colosseum, Rickmansworth Road, Watford, WD17 3JN 7:00pm with tickets priced from £15. The World Hip Hop Dance Championships will take place on 6-11 August in Las Vegas.

The organisers of Chelles Battle Pro 2013 in France has announced its battle line up ahead of the event on 2 March. Chelles Battle Pro is an annual b-boy competition that takes place in Chelles, Seine-et-Marne, an eastern suburb of Paris, with battles for crews, 2 on 2 b-boys and solo baby battles, plus showcase performances and workshops with the artists.
