Flawless, stars of Streetdance 3D and Britain’s Got Talent 2009 finalists, were at the London auditions of Disney’s My Camp Rock 2, helping to motivate hopefuls with their dancing.
Flawless, who are headlining in their own show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August before an autumn tour, were on hand to cheer the kids on and show them some of their moves, which have seen them rise to become world dance champions.
“We’re delighted to be involved with Disney Channel’s My Camp Rock 2 Dance Crew,” said Marlon ‘Swoosh’ Wallen of Flawless. “We know how much dance talent there is in the UK and as Londoners we were really looking forward to seeing the local talent in our city, and enjoying all the different dance styles out there. Through hard work and determination anyone can achieve their dreams, and hopefully for many youngsters who turned out today, this was the start of a journey to make their dream a reality!”
Young hopefuls needed a passion for dance, a desire to be on Disney Channel, and be prepared to perform their very best moves. From these initial auditions, the finalists who made it through to callback were then put through their paces by renowned choreographer Elizabeth Honan, who has choreographed for Girls Aloud and more recently Cheryl Cole’s iconic Fight For This Love music video.
During the callback, auditionees danced to It’s On, the brand new track and music video from Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam, which can be viewed at www.youtube.com/disneychanneluk
Thanks Flawless for making the children of Whitehorse Manor Junior School very happy by allowing us to have our photo taken with you! You truly are stars! (although Simon was a bit on the shy side!)
