Blackpool’s Winter Gardens will host a pop music line up including contestants from Britain’s Got Talent over August bank holiday weekend as UDO Live hits the town for a music and dance extravaganza.

Running alongside the United Dance Organisation (UDO) World Street Dance Championships, UDO Live is a series of four music and dance events taking place at Blackpool Winter Gardens over the August bank holiday weekend. The line up includes contestants from X-Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.

An estimated 12,000 visitors are expected to attend the World Street Dance Championships and UDO Live over the course of the weekend. The full line up and links to tickets can be found below.

Friday 27 August

The weekend kicks off on Friday 27 August with Britain’s Got Talent 2010 finalist Tobias Mead, Sky 1 Got to Dance winner Akai, Britain’s Got Talent 2010 semi-finalists A3 and up and coming boyband VICE.

Saturday 28 August
Taking centre stage on Saturday 28 and amazing the crowds with its gravity defying act will be Britain’s Got Talent winner, Spelbound. Supporting the acrobatic troupe will be popular duo Jedward, X Factor 2007 finalists Same Difference and Britain’s Got Talent 2010 finalists Connected (since renamed ReConnected).

On Sunday 29 Diversity, Twist & Pulse and Olly Murs will be performing a range of MJ inspired songs and dance acts in celebration of the music legend’s phenomenal life on what would have been his 52nd birthday. Also performing are winners of the BBC’s ‘Move like Michael’ dance crew, Animaneaux and Britain’s Got Talent runners up dance duo Signature with their Michael Jackson/Bhangra act. There will also be a matinee performance of this show.

Pop sensation and winner of X Factor 2008, Alexandra Burke will conclude the weekend on Monday 30th August, supported by ReConnected, boyband VICE, up and coming group Fusion and The Petebox.
