The British B-Boy Association (BBA) is holding its first championships competition at the Billing Aquadrome, Northampton.

The British B-Boy Association Championships 2011 will be part of The Urban Weekend, part of the UK Urban Dance Festival on Sunday 7 August 2011.

The competition will involve a 6-on-6 crew battle and solo battles for a £1,000 and £500 respectively.

The British B-Boy Association is a non profit organisation promoting the interests of British b-boying and b-girling (breakdancing) within the UK and internationally, aiming to ensure the continuing development of the culture for future generations of dancers.

DJ Credit One (Jason Attwater) was appointed as chairman of the BBA in March 2011.
