Diversity are to assist raising money for an accident and emergency unit in Basildon, Essex, to help achieve a target of £250,000, according to the Basildon Recorder.
The donations raised for Basildon Hospital’s Polly Parrot appeal would go towards a multi sensory room.
“Kids’ experience of hospital is so different, and they need a different approach and a different environment,” said Ashley Banjo, Diversity’s choreographer. “I think a children’s A&E is a brilliant idea, and a really positive approach for the hospital.”
As Diversity are touring Europe, sister dance group Out of the Shadows will perform on the group’s behalf at the Orsett Hall Hotel today.
