Elizabeth Honan has assumed the role of Brian Friedman as the X-Factor 2011 live show creative director and choreographer and will be responsible for the movement direction for the top 16 acts.

“I’m looking forward to creating really big productions, so beautiful that they make people cry,” she said. “And I’m not going to stop until somebody says I have to! I want to go as big as possible until somebody says ‘No.'”

She will work alongside Brian Burke to create concepts for each of the singers and co-choreograph with Ray Leeper over the coming weeks of the show.

Elizabeth Honan is the choreographer responsible for Cheryl Cole’s Fight For This Love choreography and has choreographed for Girls Aloud, JLS and Nicole Scherzinger.

Brian Friedman has long been the X-Factor’s main choreographer but is to work on the American version of the show.
