Throwdown Brixton proceeds to go to Japan earthquake appeal
Proceeds from the monthly street dance battle event, Throwdown at Plan B, Brixton, are to go towards the Japan earthquake relief.
The monthly event which hosts dance battles in breaking, popping, krumping, waacking and house has been a vehicle for charitable causes in the past, including the donation of all entrance fees to Haiti in February 2010.
Throwdown April will include a one on one house dance battle, 7- to-smoke breaking battle, and Track from the Hat, where dancers are challenged to dance to an random track chosen by chance.
Throwdown takes place at Plan B, 418 Brixton Road, London.
