Jordan and Perri’s Ultimate Block Party will be co-produced between Nickelodeon UK and Sky 1 HD by Princess Productions, the company behind Got to Dance and Ashley Banjo’s Secret Street Crew.

The spin off series will take place over eight half hour episodes airing this summer following the two Diversity members choreographing a routine with the organiser for their party.

Applications for Jordan and Perri’s Ultimate Block Party for children aged between 9 and 13 closed on 31 March

Peter Drake, vice president creative director at Nickelodeon UK and executive producer commented: “Street dance is exactly what kids in the UK are into right now and it’s also great to be working closely with our partner, Sky 1 HD to commission shows for kids in a new way.”

Diversity signed a two year deal with Sky TV in June 2012 exclusively signing them to Sky until 2014. The contract established them for nine hour-long episodes of Ashley Banjo’s Secret Street Crew which begins on 17 March 2013, and saw Jordan and Perri as backstage interviewers and voiceovers on Got to Dance Uncut.

Stuart Murphy, director of programmes, said last June: “I am thrilled to welcome Diversity to the Sky fold – we are huge fans,” with Sky adding “more shows being announced in the future.”
