Following a successful season themed around the four elements, earth, wind, fire and water, Impact Dance are searching for 20 dance groups to perform alongside professional companies, competing for a place in the finals at the Peacock Theatre.
Live Vibe, hosted by Hakeem ‘Mr Impact’ Onibudo and Annaliese Dayes, combines live entertainment with audience interaction. After the Elements finale in July, Live Vibe will return in autumn with the theme of Live Vibe at the Movies.
Five groups will be judged each month by a panel of professionals with the winners earning themselves a places in the season final.
Applications are open to dance schools and community groups across London, who should submit their work t0 Impact Dance. All styles of dance will be considered provided they fit the theme of “at the movies.”
Applications for Live Vibe at the Movies can be downloaded from the London Dance website with successful applicants notified by 2 July.
Those chosen will appear alongside professional dance groups who in the past has included Boy Blue and Zoonation.
