The promotional video for next year’s show was posted on YouTube over the weekend trailing vignettes of the 2010 show. They are also accepting submissions for performances via the Serious Street website. The confirmed line up will be announced on 31 October.
Serious About Street Dance 2011 will mark three years of business for Funk Physics, the company Kymberlee Jay founded in 2008 to give dancers without classical training support breaking into the dance industry.
Last year’s Serious About Street Dance 2010 event was in attendance of 2,000 people with appearances from Boy Blue Entertainment, Dance2XS, Plague and many more of the UK’s leading dance groups.
The date for Serious About Street Dance 2011 is 27 February at the Indigo2 inside London’s O2. Tickets can be bought from TicketMaster and go on sale on 27 September.
It was recently announced that Kymberlee Jay is to host the Who Iz Who Battle 2010 on 3 October.
