Darren Symes from Bournemouth in Dorset competed in the IDO Electric Boogie Championships Junior Section Solo in Bochum Germany and took the title after dancing several tough rounds.

Darren is now the holder of two World Dance titles having won the u16’s UDO solo Street Dance title in Blackpool last month.

32 outstanding dancers competed in the Junior Electric Boogie section and all competitors would have qualified for this event at a competition held in their country.

Darren performs as a singer and dancer in theatres in the South West to help fund his competing in Europe and his next goal is to find a sponsor and get involved with street films.
