TV dance talent competition Got to Dance and ‘performance documentary’ Pineapple Dance Studios on Sky One have been nominated for Broadcast Awards.

Pineapple Dance Studios by Pulse Films has been nominated in the Best Popular Factual Programme category, while Got to Dance by Princess Productions is nominated in the Best Entertainment Programme category, facing competition from the 2010 winner, X-Factor.

The Broadcast Awards, run by Broadcast Magazine, is held annually to recognise and reward excellence in programme-making.

The winners are due to be announced in February at the Grosvenor Park Hotel.
