The British B-Boy Association (BBA) has appointed DJ Credit One (Jason Attwater) as its new chairman, replacing B-Boy Bee who stood down earlier this week. Kevin Kilminster (DJ Badger) has been appointed vice chairman.

Laura Tonnison (Lady B) has been appointed the new BBA secretary and administrator, while Jamie Jackson Arnold (B-Boy Lil Jay) will stay onboard as deputy chairman.

The British B-Boy Association is a non profit organisation promoting the interests of British b-boying and b-girling (breakdancing) within the UK and internationally, aiming to ensure the continuing development of the culture for future generations of dancer.

In an email to members of the BBA, Credit One commented: “We are very much all looking forward to the future of the re-vamped B-Boy Association and we wish Barry all the best for his future projects. Hopefully Barry will be back to judge at future BBA events and jams.”

It continued: “Again, a heartfelt thank you and 100 per cent respect and love to the founder of the British B-Boy Association.”
