It was announced today Diversity and Flawless will team up for a special one-off collaboration show featuring Susan Boyle called ‘Flyversity.’

“The idea behind Flyversity is to dispel any rumours of rivalry since the groups competed in Britain’s Got Talent,” said the project’s publicist, April Furst.

Diversity won the TV talent show in 2009, beating north London street dance crew Flawless and Scottish singer Susan Boyle.

Both dance groups went on to do international tours, Diversitoys and Chase the Dream, while Susan Boyle secured a record deal.

“We’ve taken the names of both dance groups and combined them together to create the new name, but it also works on the level that Flawless will put the ‘fly’ in Flyversity!” she added. “We added Susan Boyle to the line up and we’re hoping the crossover will appeal to a wider, younger street dance audience.”

No details as to whether Susan Boyle will have her own dance number have yet been announced.

More information on Flyversity can be found on the official Flyversity website.
