Schwarzkopf is holding a nationwide search to find the UK’s best street dancers to form a new crew with Street Dance: The Search.
Auditions will take place in front of live audiences throughout the UK in February and March.
The top regional finalists selected from each heat will qualify for the London final where they will perform in front of a panel of choreographers and a celebrity judge for the chance to win a place in the new street dance crew.
The chosen dancers will hand picked as a new crew and entered in to the main UK street dance championships.
“There is a great fit with street dance and Schwarzkopf’s hair brands, LIVE Colour XXL and got2b, which ultimately share the same attitudes and attributes,” Ben Haxworth, UK head of marketing at Schwarzkopf, commented. “We will identify new talent, discover new dancers and bring great opportunity to the youth generation with Street Dance: The Search.”
The winner will also be awarded a £10,000 prize fund, styling from LIVE Colour XXL and got2b experts, a video and photo shoot, and a choreography masterclass.
The names of the judges and choreographers are due to be revealed later this week.

Saturday 12 March at The Trafford Centre
