Cypher Styles, the largest online shop for b-boy and street dance gear is offering to give away free protective gear to a whole crew for Christmas.

To enter individuals must mention Cypher Styles online (such as in a blog post or on an internet forum), tweet @CypherStyles, write on their Facebook wall or email the company stating why their crew deserves to win the gear.

“2011 has been such a great year for us so we wanted to give something back to the community”, said Barry Rabkin, founder of Cypher Styles.

The closing date for the competition is 1 January 2012 with the best entry chosen in the new year after they email their mention to customerservice@cypherstyles.com

The winning crew will win a selection of protective b-boy gear for their crew including knee pads and headspin beanies.

CypherStyles.com is the largest online street dance store on the internet, set up in 2005 as a safe and secure alternative to buying from unverified sellers.
It stocks essential b-boy gear, how to dance videos, battle DVDs and is an officially authorised reseller for independently published books on street dance culture such as The Art of Battle by Alien Ness and the We B*Girlz book by Nika Kramer and Martha Cooper.

The website also aims to unite all local and international college and high school dance societies via its Cypher Styles University directory.
