Open auditions dates for the second series of  So You Think You Can Dance UK (2011) have been announced.

Auditions will take place in Manchester, Glasgow and London throughout October. Belfast and Cardiff are cities also earmarked as audition locations, with times and dates to be announced soon.

Last year Charlie Bruce won the weekly TV dance competion on BBC1 that tests dancers’ versatility through different dance styles. Hip hop dancers Tommy Franzen and Lizzie Gough were runners up.

Nigel Lythgoe and Arlene Philips will return as judges for the second series of So You Think You Can Dance, and Cat Deeley, who also presents the American versions of the show, is set to return as the show’s presenter.

No announcements have been made regard to which choreographers will work on this series of the show. The 2010 street dance choreographers included Kenrick Sandy of Boy Blue Entertainment, Simeon Qsyea of Birdgang and Kate Prince of Zoonation.
