The Funktrap popping battles return on Saturday 23 October with 2 on 2 popping battles taking place at 229 The Venue, hosted by Tinacious (B-Better) and J.A.Y (Goodfoot).

Dancers are expected to bring a mix of freestyles and routines to win the £500 prize, judged by Boogie Frantick (USA), Mr Steen (Denmark), Renegade (UK), Danny Francis (UK) and James Painting (UK).

Past Funktrap finalists include Boogie and Breakz of Flawless, and Rikoshay and Ssik Tingz – finalists of the Sony Ericsson UK B-Boy Championships Nationonal Qualifiers.

Funktrap starts at 9pm with the battles starting at 10pm.

Final – 4 rounds per crew (2-3 routines)
Semis – 3 rounds per crew (1-2 routines)
Quarters – 2 rounds per crew (1 routine)
16 Pairs – 2 rounds per crew (1 routine)
