Pockemon Crew is the winner of the Battle of the Year 2012 in Nime, France, after defeating Ultimatum Crew in the French qualifier today.
The BOTY qualifiers took place tonight with the competition semi finals and finals streamed online via French music channel Canal Street.

They go on to compete in the Braun Battle of the Year 2012 finals that will take place in Montpellier, France in November.

Braun Battle of the Year
Battle of the Year, also referred to as BOTY, is an annual international b-boying series that began in 1990. In the past BOTY world finals were held at the Volkswagenhalle in Braunschweig, Germany until 2009 when event moved to Montpellier, France.
For 2012 Battle of the Year expanded into Africa with investing in the regional scene and holding qualifiers for the first time in its history.
Vagabond Crew from France was last year’s Braun Battle of the Year winner.
Organisers also played a part in the production of the forthcoming movie, Battle of the Year: Dream Team which will be released in cinemas internationally next year.
