DS2DIO, the dance lifestyle channel from LXD creator Jon M Chu has announced The Arena, a b-boy battle taking place in weekly instalments on YouTube.
The Arena describes itself as “the ultimate b-boy battle” and will be hosted by Ivan “Flipz” Velez and Angela Sun where a line up of America’s best b-boys who will battle weekly for supremacy in front of judges. The battle line up can be found below.

The judge line up for The Arena has been announced as Crazy Legs, Asia One and Abstrak.
Each of the b-boys will be tested using a series of tests of skill such as footwork, power and rocking with illuminated shapes on the floor of the arena and illustrate the different aspects of b-boying (commonly known as breakdancing).

DS2DIO, pronounced ‘d-studio’ is a dance lifestyle ‘channel’ available to watch online for free on YouTube, a project from Step Up movies present director Jon M Chu.
Chu is also the creator of online dance and superhero series The LXD (Legion of Extraordinary Dancers). Although later released on iTunes, the original series of LXD was released exclusively through American online streaming service, Hulu.
