UKSA street dance championships british open logoThe full judge line up for the first UKSA UK Street Dance Championships British Open at the Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent has been announced.

Dance battles at the inaugural event this Sunday will take place in house, locking, breaking and all style duos and crew battles for various age brackets and skill levels.

The day will also include showcase performances, judge demos and special guests to break up the 11 hour day.

UK Street Dance British Open championships takes place at The Glow, Bluewater Shopping Centre Greenhithe Kent DA9 9ST from 9am to 8pm.

Tickets are £18 for dancers and £15 for spectators.

The United Kingdom Streetdance Association (UKSA)

The United Kingdom Streetdance Association is an overseeing body that aims to improve the streetdance scene for the dancers, the educators and the promoters founded by David Welch of Karizma Crew and Fred ‘The Realness’ Folkes.

Its aim is to “pioneer a new era in street dance” and raise the standard of professionalism of British street dancers and events and will hold regular seminars and other benefits for teachers that subscribe to the association.
