World BBoy Classic 2-on-2 battle qualifiers will take place in the UK for the first time at The Walkabout in Birmingham in association with Gimme The Breaks on Sunday 12 May.

Pairs of breakers will compete for a place in the World B-Boy Classic 2013 finals in Eindhoven, Holland on 29 June.
World B-Boy Classic is an international 2-on-2 b-boy battle that takes place annually in Rotterdam as part of the Street Science Festival in Holland. 16 specially invited international b-boys, or the “Great Eight” are paired together at random an hour before the battle to compete against the qualified duos in an open qualifier.
World BBoy Classic was established in 2009 by the organisation 45 Live who are behind the events The Notorious IBE and Dutch BBoy Championships. The competition is part of the Street Science Festival also includes battles in other dance styles, workshops, markets, performances, panels and parties.
The winning pair at World B-Boy Classic UK qualifiers on Sunday 24 March will have local transport, accommodation, and catering covered in the Netherlands to assist their journey to the finals.

World BBoy Classic 2012 recap
B-Boy Palmer of Havikoro and B-Boy Kareem of Fallen Kings emerged as champions at the World B-Boy Classic 2012 world finals.
Palmer and Kareem, both of the USA defeated B-Boy Xisco of Hustle Kids (Holland) and B-Boy Gun from Illusion of Exist (Russia) in the finals after progressing through the qualifying rounds made up of entrants to the competition and the invited international World BBoy Classic 2012 ‘Great Eight’ announced a month ahead of the competition.
