Dancers need a minimum score of two gold stars from the judges Ashley Banjo, Kimberly Wyatt and Adam Garcia to get through to the live quarter finals.

Street dancers Turbo (Issac Baptiste), Stylefest 2010 house champion, and Cerebro qualified with three gold stars, as did Akai‘s sister, Ashanti.
