Notorious IBE 2011 International Hip Hop Dance Festival programme highlights

After the sold out 2010 event, the city of Heerlen, Netherlands, is preparing for the 11th edition of one of the world’s biggest international hip hop dance festival, The Notorious IBE 2011.

The Notorious IBE 2011 festival on the 9, 10 and 11 September will bring the world’s best breakers, lockers, poppers and new stylers and other connected styles to the hospitable city to participate in the many organised battles, workshops and discussions taking place.

Throughout the weekend the festival will also feature organised special battles such as the Powermove Battle, Solo B-Boy Kids Battle, Stand Up Dance, Trick Battle and more.

Festival opening day will feature the infamous Seven2Smoke battle where a selection of eight top b-boys must win seven consecutive rounds in a row to emerge champion.

On the third day of the festival, a new edition of the All Battles All will take place. A selection of the best dancers will represent their continent in an all-star battle. In addition to the United States and Europe, 2011 will premiere the first time Latin-America team in the IBE
