The new expanded space allows for additional competitions to take place, including freestyle football, graffiti, skate jams, tricking, slackline and an XMA and trisports zone. Visitors will also be able to participate with workshops, showcases, trade stands, try out areas, and appearances from special guests.
“This event is all about nurturing the talent of the future and giving up and coming crews an insight into what it takes to be professional street dancers. Myself, Kenrick and Kym want local dance schools to show us what they have got on the floor and have some real fun while there doing it!” said Rhimes. ” The future of street dance is all about the passion of these young people, so lets make sure they have the advice they need to suceed!”
Crews that want to participate have until October 7 to enter.
