Juste Debout 2012 International tour and dates announced – UK date 25 February

juste debout 2012 logo blackThe dates and cities for the Juste Debout 2012 International Tour were announced recently adding several new countries to its qualifiers.

Juste Debout 2012 International Tour will visit Madrid in Spain, Dublin in Ireland and Szczecin in Poland for the first time, extending the tour to 14 regional preliminaries.

Just Debout UK will return to the Camden Centre, London in February after its début in 2011, organised by Uchenna Dance and Clara Bajado. Tickets will be £12 for competitors or £18 for spectators, or £22 on the door.

Categories include 2 on 2 locking, 2 on 2 popping, 2 on 2 house, 2 on 2 hip hop and solo experimental battles. It appears that the toprock battle has been dropped this year.

The Juste Debout 2012 finals will take place in Paris, France on 11 March 2012.

Regional workshops with the judges will accompany the preliminary rounds at Studio 68, London, on 23 and 24 March with P-Lock (locking), Niako (hip hop), Kei (popping) and Calleaf (house).
