Street Dance 2 on DVD will be released on 23 July 2012 according to retail listings information.

The DVD release of the sequel may have been moved forward due to the low box office earnings of Street Dance 2 after it made only £600,000 over its opening weekend in the UK, only a quarter of what Street Dance 3D made. DVD releases may be pushed forward depending on the success of a movie at the box office after a minimum of 12 weeks (see here), although gross box office sales may be bolstered by international earnings – see below for international release dates of Street Dance 2.

Box art for a Street Dance and Street Dance 2 DVD box set has also been released on Play.com, which packages the original movie and sequel together, set for release the same day as the standalone.

Street Dance 2 will be released by Entertainment One who also handled the release of Street Dance 3D on DVD.
